1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Account data: name, email, login credentials.
- Event data: event details, guest lists, itineraries, RSVPs and messages you create or upload.

- Support messages: what you send us when you contact support.
- Usage & technical data: pages viewed, actions taken, device type, browser, IP address.
3. Why we use it

4. Who we share it with
- Service providers / subprocessors who help us run ShinDig — including hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, and map/place lookups (Google Maps Platform).
- Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record, for sale of one-off event unlocks, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
- Authorities where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers are located outside Australia. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after, to meet legal, tax and fraud-prevention obligations. After that we delete or anonymise it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with your local privacy regulator (in Australia, the OAIC). To exercise these rights, contact us via the support address in the app. We'll respond within a month.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, hosted on a reputable cloud provider — to protect your data. No system is 100% secure but we take it seriously.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and the app working. We don't currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics cookies later, we'll update this notice and provide a way to manage preferences.
10. Children
ShinDig isn't intended for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from them.
